Laptop audio not working

Hi guys, 

my laptop's audio is not working properly. The thing is it shows the master volume to be at a positive percentage, the drivers are updated and everything but sometimes the output is 0 from the laptop side itself, my speakers and headphones work perfectly fine with my phone. This problem occurs 50% of the time nowadays. Sometimes when i restart the problem goes. i thought maybe it was a driver update problem so i uninstalled and updated the driver twice, once from the windows updation itself and once from the realtek website. both the times the speakers of the laptop worked. But now 2 days past that the problem occurs again, almost 50% of the time. 

help guys ?

there are no viruses in the system i guess, i just recently had a full pc check.

How old is the laptop, contact the manufacturer if it is in warranty. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

its about 4 months old, my screen got fucked out of nowhere recently and contacted the manufacturer. got it fixed in 3 weeks time tho. idk how long this problem will take
