I can’t really explain it, but you know how when you drag and select, that blue rectangle appears on your desktop? When I do that, my background turns black in that spot, I don’t know why, I updated my graphics drivers and idk what I should do.

Well first of all, your Windows is not activated, and so the background can't be changed. So, I don't know what you did to change the background.

To me it looks like the background is supposed to be 100% black, and isn't being refreshed only by the selection box, hence the effect you have.

This could be a draw call not being executed by Windows, or the GPU drivers have a bug

All I did was right click my picture and click set as desktop background, it didn't stop me.
