Constantly Dropping Frames

Within the last 2 weeks I have noticed that I am constantly dropping frames whether it be on youtube with nothing going on in the background or in game with everythign happening it is dropping ever 2 seconds i am noticing some sort of frameloss. I have a powerful system (specs below), all GPU drivers are up to date and as far as I can see it happens whether i am offline or online so internet isnt the issue. Before this started nothing new changed in terms of updates so really have no idea what is causing the problem and how to fix this. Built my pc about 3 years ago and upgraded from windows 8 to windows 10 about a year and a half ago (with laods of problems with it). If anything is unclear about my system please let me know and i will do my best to clear things up. Also when running EVGA Precision X/OC Scanner X there are no irregularities as far as a novice can see and upon sending the logs to EVGA they said that it looked normal.

I7 5930K

EVGA GTX 980TI

MSI X99A Sli Plus Motherboard

EVGA Supernova 1000w PSU

32 GB of DDR4 RAM

2 x 240GB SSDs (one with the OS on)

2TB HDD

WIFI Network card (not set up)

Elgato HD60 Pro

Make sure you are updated (again) and think about going back a revision in graphics drivers or updates. That may* fix the problem. Also check your temps again on gpu especially but also cpu. It's probably not a ram problem but whenever I troubleshoot I remove anything unecessary. (extra ram sticks)

Hi not sure if this is normal but upon opening Precision X my gpu clock and memory speed went up to 1200 MHz roughly and although it was only temporary (5 seconds) everything seemed fine for that time however after that original burst it fell to 270 GPU clock and 405 Memory clock. Also regarding temp it is sitting at 46c for my GPU and my CPU cores are all below 40c whilst idle.

Not familiar with precision X meybe up the max power level but drop the O/C so there is mor epower available but less stress.

Havent messed around at all with the Overclock  and when trying to up the max power it isnt changing anything,

Just meant drop the max clock so it has more headroom, ive had sh*it ram do this before and had to do the same.

Was viewing whats changing when just watching a youtube video and these were the 2 that were spiking and didnt same as stable is this normal?

looks about normal

 

, the bottoming out is more concerning
