But now i took everything out and want to do a proper cleaning, what do you guys use for your self?

wanna get all that white stuff that may be in rad the cpu block im gonna open up

i did not use dies cause i read horror stories, and obviously i have new feser tubing to put (old one looks fine actually)

I guess you could flush rad(s) with a 1:10 warm water and white vinegar solution. As for block(s), same water and vinegar solution with some toothbrush scrubbing.

White stuff? Step one is figuring out what it is and making sure it never ever ever gets back in your loop. :) To clean it all out the video by Linus posted above contains a couple of good tips.

its more like white flakes :)

pretty sure when i made my loop there was still regular water from flushing the rad...

oh ya im gonna scrub the hell out of the cpu block its impregnated with the white stuff, the tubing had it also but it just washed off

tks ill take a gander on the video

The white substance is plasticizer, use dish soap to remove.

Dont use vinegar for cleaning loops.

White stuff is aluminium compounds. You most likely have copper and aluminium mix. I would suggest to get rid of all aluminium parts within the loop if it's too much white stuff (which it sounds like and the pump stopping.) Also use warm tap water and vinegar to clean, then just warm water twice, then pure H2O (distilled water without any minerals or so). Then mix 5:1 distilled water and car radiator fluid as your coolant. Car radiator fluid is the best.

Also use a D5 pump if possible. You have to literally kill them to make them die.

Nope.

You find me a currently available block or rad made of Alu.

You cant.

Plasticizer is a well known problem, especially with primochill LRT pro.

Adding anti freeze will just sludge up. Please do research before posting.

I am not talking about anti freeze or anti freeze coolant mixture. I'm talking about pure radiator coolant (The stuff without antifreeze can be found in Canadian Tire). BTW it's nice to know the plasticizer problem. I'm not using primochill LRT so never noticed that.

gotta take a pic already gor rid of tubing but it was not all white, the cpu block is still not all clean need to find hex key right size

Well your problem sounds like organic gunk. Try kill coil. It would be better if you upload some photos. If it turns out to be organic stuff, iodine would be a great choice.

ya im wanna upload pics but its always out of focus my camara is at bros house, new years drinking left it there :) and i gotta buy a hex key to open the cpu block tks for the help guys

The key word is anodized.

Water cant penetrate therefore it wont corrode the Alu.
