Hey guys,

I'm browsing through ebay right now and I came across this:

 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Neu-GTX-1060-3G-6G-GTX750TI-2G-GTX-1050TI-4G-DDR5-GTX650-GamingGrafikkarteD/352465821406?hash=item5210999ede:m:mydZvimCoccrcTaEuGRDtcg:rk:1:pf:0

The're selling a brand new GTX 1060 3 gb for €70 (US$80).

Do you think it's that type of scam where they send you something like a GTX 550 ti that acts like it's a GTX 1060? What's your opinion on this?

It's one of those Chinese looking knock offs. Bitwit and Linus have dealt with these before and they do not perform very well at all. Cheaply made, horrible booting (won't allow the PC to post or anything) and so on.

Stay away!

These china cards are usually a scam.

Usually they are the GPU of a much older card.. Let's for example...

That card might be a GT 720... But the bios on the card might be "hacked" or modified so that it shows up as a GTX 1060 card with 4 GB DDR5 memory. While in reality it might just be a GT 720 with DDR3 memory..

Yeah, that's what I think it is

What you do is buy it, find out it is not the real deal, go threw PPBP, if they demand you to send it back at your expense tell them they scammed you if they want it back they pay. Get money back likely keep the card :P

No idea why ebay keeps letting things like this on their site...
