Did you try different connection types like Display port to HDMI?

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Ok... Fixed.  I was running AMD adrenaline 18.5.1 which I'm guessing was causing the issue. I uninstalled all drivers with a  DDU and installed version 18.8.2 which you have to search for on AMD. This version solved most issues but still a little glitchy so I ended up resetting my PC back to factory and then installing AMD adrenaline version 18.8.2 again and BAM!! Bob's you Uncle. Freesync works great now on the Samsung q6f with my rx580.
