Cheap Gaming PC question

Hi, I am relatively new to hardware, and was wondering if a xeon x5550 would bottleneck a 1070ti? Any responses would be great!

It depends on what you plan to do and what games you plan to play. Overall yeah it would.

A 1070 and get a ryzen 1700x or higher

That's a 1336 processor. What motherboard do you have that running on?

 

Depending on your motherboard you can OC or upgrade to a 6-core Xeon to get a performance boost.

The guy behind that channel does a lot of X58 upgrades and even lets them go head to head with current tech. Could be useful information for you on what you want to do at this point.
