overpriced, fastest gaming cpus for 12-14months, overpriced on purpose, 9900k will still go out of stock,  feels exactly like nvidia's launch. 9600k is useless

 

Edit: just checked that 9600k is soldered also, so decent gaming on a budget after oc.

Seems silly to me to forgo 4 threads to step into the i7 8 core cpu with very minimal other improvements, just surface reading though. Seems that they've also increased the price over general releases. Idk. New hardware is becoming less and less entertaining and more and more frustrating.

I9 9900k look like the most interesting intel cpu right now. Im dissapointed in there new hedt line up. Still 18 cores and a tard more exspensive again.

 

The problem is just that if i want a new pc it will be on hedt platform. I9 9900k looks great on it own and soldered finnally.

 

But for now i will stick to x58 and my i7 980X

With the inflated intel prices here in europe i expect em to cost 700+ euro

I7 8700k was 379 at launch, its now at 599
