Hi there,

Thanks for checking my post.

I am looking to buy a new phone.

I am not looking to spend to much, I dont want a phone that costs more then my car like a Iphone X.

I dont want to spend more then 500 (euros/pounds/dolars).

But if possible not spend 500 and spend just 350 (just and example) like buyng second hand phones like samsung 7 edge plus is arround 350.

Is it recomended to get a second hand phone (with warranty etc)

Or would be better to buy a new high end phone?
I dont realy like to buy phones or things for crazy brands that I found in the cereals box.

Recomendentions or any advice.

I want a good phone that lasts, would the Samsung S8 or Samsung S7 or Samsung S6 be an option.

Tell me your opinion.

Thanks for reading.

I don't understand what you're saying. It's obviously BETTER to buy a high end phone than it is to buy a crappy phone off the second hand market.

I wouldnt get a second hand phone, might have liquid damage and stuff. Better off getting a brand new one.

Samsung S8

Huawei Mate 20

Honor 10

Huawei P20 lite

all within your budget, comes down to what you want. Stereo sound? Dual Camera? Dual Sim? Expandable memory?

There are shops that sell second hand phones, phones like samsung s9, people that buy then and trade then.

I know obviously that buy new is better.

I am asking is that. If is worth to for exemple a new s8 is arround 500 to 550, and I cant it get second hand between 400 and 450. Is it worth to save 100 pound and get a phone second hand high end, some scraches etc but save money.

If you want to buy a second hand s8/s9 be aware that the reason the phone could be selling is because of already void warranty or something wrong with the device. If you don't care much for the branding, Nokia has some good models. Look at Nokia 7 plus it has SD660 with 4GB of RAM it is android one device which can be upgraded to Android 9 already. You can wait a week or so Nokia 7.1 plus (not just the nokia 7.1) is going to be released which will be arguably better if you fancy the notch the 7 plus don't has.
