Windows 10 Question

How would I install a legit version of Windows 10 Home to a new pc that im building if it does not have a DVD reader? Also How do I System wipe my old computer but keep windows 10 on it for my younger brother?

do you have a usb stick that's at least 4 gigs?

Download the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool here , you can install it to a USB stick and boot from it in the BIOS (usually F10)

 

 

To wipe the old PC, just type "reset this PC" in the Windows start menu and it'll bring you to the Recovery page where you can revert Win10 to day1, complete with bloatware too if you have an OEM system with a recovery partition. 
I personally prefer deleting the recovery partition and using the USB stick from the creation tool during the process since it'll leave you without bloatware on OEM systems.

1) Using USB and the Windows Media Creation Tool

2) Open settings and search Refresh, the Refresh This PC Wizard should show

Yea, you can do two things: download the mediacreation tool and burn it on a usb, or use a dvd reader on usb, they are both pretty cheap and usefull later

Can I buy windows 10 from Windows 10 Media Creation? or would I have to get a hard copy and use the tool to put it on a usb.

Alright, I guess we'll let him get Malware from trying a million different ones off of Google like we have all done at least once  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

At least that activator uses the Windows Activation Service to do its dirty work instead of the KMSActivator which is literal AIDS for you PC
