So I currently have an i5 4460 that I got because of a restricted budget when building my pc, it was originally paired with 8gb Ram and a used 660. The Ram was upgraded to 16gb and I upgraded to a 1060 but the cpu stayed and now that I can I’d like to upgrade the system to a new cpu, mobo and Ram.

These are the parts I’d like to upgrade to, I just want to make sure I’m getting the best parts possible for around that price and that they all work together fine.

i5 8600k

Asus Prime Z370-A

(8x2) 16gb Corsair vengeance pro rgb 3000mhz

corsair h115i AIO

Thanks!

PS - Obviously if the 9th gens are announced later I’ll get the 9600k instead.

i'm personally a bigger fan of the MSI pro carbon, but that's also a great board.

H100i v2 might be a better choise here

Same  I love the pro carbon but it’s an extra €45 from Amazon which at the moment I can’t stretch to.

im going with the h115i for the Ram cpu block.

why are you using a ram block? ram isn't that big of a factor even in gaming

Just go for the full 3200 dawg

The 3200 vengeance pro RGB is out of stock on Amazon but I was looking into the trident Z ram but I wasn't sure if it was worth the extra€25

Edit;

I just found the Corsair 3200 for an extra 10 euro and added to cart. Thanks!

I found some leeway in my budget and I think I might stretch to the msi pro carbon AC. It's more suited to the dark/RGB theme of my pc
