hi guys im just wondering is this a good build for just a simple file sever to keep just games files and other things?

i prefer an intel chipset  for my file server

 

faster data transfer from disc to disc

 

faster data transfer over the gigabit network

i think pick the cheapest board that you like here. i like msi asus and gigabyte before asrock

thats a great deal, you really cant go wrong at that price.

 

i personally would spend the extra 50.00 and go for intel because the chipset is for faster data transfer. but for me all my data is stored on the server so i require the fastest data transfer i can get.

 

i use win7 ultimate x64 for my server. i wish i had the cash for win home server 2012 :(

i guess so a intel setup would be better and u whip me up a quick system for a basepoint of what kind of cpu i will need
