I have a laptop with a faulty SSD and needs a replacement SSD. Is it possible to replace the faulty SSD, with a new SSD, without having to back it up first for the laptop to work, if my new SSD just has a clean installation of Win10?

thanks

@Crunchy Dragon would u know?

If the new SSD has a clean installation, then you're in the clear and can ride off into the sunset with your newly functional laptop.

I would advise one small thing.

Download the latest wifi, ethernet, and mobo drivers from the laptop site first and keep them just in case :)
