I am very concerned. I ordered my Windforce r9 290 and when it came an announcment Went out that they were being recalled. I ordered it from newegg and I have no idea what to do. I have not installed it yet so do you guys thik I should Contact newegg and get a refund?

Call them up and ask why it's being recalled/how you go about it.

Cancel the order and get an Nvidia card.............otherwise just take the refund and invest it now on a different company like asus' card or wait for later!

You suggested returning a card he already has and switching to Nvidia with no reason given as to why he should (I'm also interested why you suggested this too, I think it might just be you being a fanboy)

 

Then you suggested switching card vendors seemingly for no reason again.
