may also want to open task manager to find out what background apps are running. make sure no browser mining or hanky-panky is running while gaming.

What are "browser mining" and "hanky-panky" and how do I know if it is?

some low-standard websites will incorporate a coin-mining app into your browser (for their 'free' website) thus stressing your hardware for their use and intrude on your resources.

best to run malwarebytes scan to prove no vicious apps are draining your resources.

Yeah. Ive encounter some of these. I also have malwarebytes free version though. Can I remove it from the free version of malwarebytes?
