hello everyone,

I want to look for a rgb led strip for my system (see main build down).

I am already using the 2 12 volt connectors on my z370 pro carbon ac.

I want to sync it up with mystic sync.

I am buying it in the Netherlands.

And don't want to buy some kind of ledstrip from wish or something like that.

What would you recommend?

Thanks in advance

@LukeSavenije you can find several 4-pin RGB splitters on the web in various locations, you would simply plug the primary connection to the board and run the LEDs off the splitter.

and with a passive splitter, will the leds be individually adressable or will it be the same with the other connected device(s)?

Using a splitter just makes an identical signal that goes through both plugs so they'll be the same as the other connected devices. Also, make sure the strip you buy says it's addressable (or digital), I don't think the one mentioned above is. 4-pin RGB usually refers to analog strips.

Edit: Also, most addressable strips are 5V, not 12V. Your mobo should be able to do 5V digital strips. They usually support the WS2812B design, which is 5V.

@LukeSavenije they would be in sync, however the 12v strips are not individually addressable, but rather full LED strip control at once. So all red for example, or all green, not red, green, blue, and so on at once.
