Laptop touchscreen integration to PC

Hi,

So recently my Thinkpad Yoga 460 broke down. Its motherboard is dead, but all other components are still fine.

My plan is to integrate the touchscreen with my PC setup so I can write my notes on it in Onenote.

I already ordered a controler board for the screen and it works, but I still need to read out the small touch chip in the base of the screen.

Is there anyone, who has done something like this already and can give me pointers?

 

On another note, I also plan to use the bottom part of the laptop as a peripheral, either with usb connetion or bluetooth.

Your best bet would be the Thinkpad forum. I think they're more into the older models, but it's worth a shot; they have a Yoga subsection.
