Cost about 1400-1500 euros BUT you can find it probably somewhere cheaper.

I prefer intel, but buying Intel processor now is waste of money, because prices are extremely and insane high.

Thank you very much

Hi Guys, I'm planning on building a new PC, but I need some help choosing the components. My budget for this build is ~1000€. I live in Italy and I mainly want this PC for music production. I also need all the peripherals for this build (monitor, keyboard, mouse) with good headphones, speakers and sound card. Hope you can help me.

I answer you about music production part.

Yes, good sound card is recommended - for much less noise and better stereo separation. But is not required, just recommended, you may start without it. Or choose motherboard with digital output and amplifier with digital input.

But budget...

1000 euros is way too small budget for music production, since good amplifier and speakers costs a lot. For example - Dali Zensor 5 speakers costs about 500 euros and good amplifier about 200-300 euros. And they're not the highest price products. Ok, you may buy Zensor 3 and some cheap Pioneer or Yamaha and cost will be about 500 euros for that in total, but then for computer with everything you'll have about 500 euros. For gaming and After Effects? With monitor and everything? No way.

BUT - it's possible if you want computer only for music production. It not required powerful CPU, integrated GPU will be good enough and quality of monitor will be not that important. Then it is possible.

And remember that unlike computer, speakers and amplifier you buy for years, so if you thinking seriously about music production, you should not cut the costs here.

Thank you for the help. I think I'm going to give up Gaming and After Effects work, which I don't really need. I'm going to focus on music production them, which is main focus anyway.

I actually don't. I was just thinking of solutions what can fix the budget to something lower

Really? Making music on speakers with cheap speaker amplifier?

Do you have any experience with music production?

Well, there is no "cutting budget" if someone wants to made music for real. Otherwise every computer and speakers will be good, even logitech for 5$.

And I wrote it wrong - should be "headphones" not "speakers". :/

BTW. I forgot about GPU. So another few euros.

2400g has intergrated graphics, might be a better solution here, then you can upgrade to an exernal graphics card later

Good.

I choose MORTAR because it's coaxial digital output. And Yamaha as one of cheapest good amplifier with digital input.

In making music is very important that you must hear everything MUCH BETTER than other listeners. Me, as listener, can listen everything even using smartphone speakers, but producer should hear everything as best as possible. For example - you release new album and someone who has great stereo amplifier and speakers buy this album. Then his review will be "omg, it sounds very bad". And you cannot answer "oh, sorry, I made mastering using logitech plastic speakers, so I don't hear it so good". :)

Also - I don't recommend to buy any subwoofer, at least at the beginning. If someone wants to unnatural boosted bass, it's always an option for listener, but should not be something that wil be required for listening music (like "you must have subwoofer if you want to hear bass in my music").

Read other posts too. I forgot about graphics card and this processor has no iGPU, so change it to AMD with iGPU as LukeSavenije suggest or buy cheap graphics card.

Also - you may buy 400W PSU - I recommend higher because who knows - maybe you'll want to expand your PC with some stuff that requires power (like GPU) later.

Budget really is not sufficient for use case. I have no suggestions for headphones and speakers. Good choices would entirely consume the budget.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
