"Best" Microphone For General Use.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or advice on which microphone i should get. My budget is around $200 to $300 USD, I will mainly use it for talking to my friends on discord or Teamspeak (yes my older friends use teamspeak still). I also do minor streaming here and there about 2-3 days out of the week. I used to own an Audio Technica AT2020 XLR input with a scarlet solo interface, but i was reading online and on other forums that it doesn't work with windows 10, i used to use that set up on windows 8 so if anyone who reads this owns an Audio Technica AT2020, i would also like to know if it is functional with windows 10.

It works with Windows 10. Anyways, the Blue Snowball iCE+Neewer boom stand is a great combo at around 50 dollars.

What doesn't work under windows 10 ?  Scarlett ?  Yes it does work with Windows 10 , and my DAW and what not.

I have had multiple issues with the Blue Snowball. Unfortunately i will not be doing down that path again.

I read online that it does not. but if you own one and say it works then i will take your word for it.

Just download and install the driver / asio and set its bit rate and frequency and your done.  It comes up just like any other audio device in sound panel.  Works great in games too,,,, Nice to have good monitors and headphones too...

but i don't have the hardware. Why would i download the software and install drivers for something i don't have?
