If it crashed sometimes the bios will still say what you put the overclock to but the cpu will run at stock settings after the crash to ensure it will run properly.

It never crashed though, infact after setting this I ran the computer through a benchmark (the benchmark also said I was running 3.7Ghz..) and nothing happened.

So the PC never crashed, BIOS still says I AM overclocked, Multiple programs say I am not. So i am VERY confused to say the least.

I would set it back to stock settings and reinput the overclock again. Must be a bug or something. I have had this happen to me but only after a crash or boot loop which tried to boot with the overclock and couldn't so it booted with stock settings.

I would clear CMOS and start over again at lower values and see if its actually crashing upon first boot or not. (when you hit save and reboot, it should shut down and start not shutdown start shutdown then start again)

Ok thanks, I will try to do this later when I get home, if it doesn't work I will have to post another topic on here with updated information. Once your topic goes past the new topics, your thread is dead X.X

I'll try the CMOS method later as well. When I first set the overclock and saved+restarted, it just turned off and did a normal boot. No crash, no BIOS screen, it just went straight through like a normal boot. Thanks for the advice, i will be sure to try it out.
