iPhone 6 backlight

Hey,

 

I’ve got an iPhone 6 which backlight doesn’t work (I’ve tried multiple screens).

Would I be able to solder cables directly from the battery? Because on the screen there is a cable for the backlight which you can solder on pretty easily. It was a free phone so it doesn’t matter if I break it.
