Wanna get better ping

I play a lot of Fortnite, and I get like over a 100 ping all the time on my current connection. But I heard of this thing called killping and I wanna know how does it work so that I could play my game properly.

Yes I am and I've done every single thing I could from my end. I think the only thing that can change my ping is either if the FN servers move closer or I get a better connection.

The only way it will improve your ping is if you're closer to their servers than the FN servers. They just have a more direct connection to FN and other game servers which improves latency between them and the game servers but if the time it takes your information to get to their servers is no better than going direct to the FN servers you won't see any improvement

I live in India, particularly the westernmost side.  What do you think, which servers are closer?

i am currently playing on the Asian servers(I don't know where they are but I think the moved closer recently as my ping decreased to 100 from 190) and my up and down speed is 20 and 15 respectively with 30 ms ping o the closest server.

Hard to say, since it's not about which are physically closer but which ones are closer in terms of hops you have to take to get there. For example, the servers could be next door but it could take 100 hops to get there, just depends on how the packets are routed.

 

There is a server ping test on their site, I couldn't get it to load and it only has DOTA and LOL but you could check that out and see roughly if there is any improvement?

The best way would be to ping the server from KillPing directly but I can't find any information on that unfortunately =/

just tested it out but it shows way more ping than I actually get in the game

yeah tried closing tabs, it still says that i get 160 ping in europe(i get 200) and says i get 190 in asia(i get 100)

i did try this out as well but it didn't show anything after i ran the test, ive been waiting for the last few minutes
