Digital Work space Help

So I am have a dream. I have 3 employees total in my IT consulting business. I want them to have a windows desktop that they can access all of the work files and needs. A Digital Workspace is what I am looking for. Problem is I cant find any good ones online or any that are are cost effective. I have an overkill 8 core system I could use. I was thinking of maybe building my own but I don't know anything about doing that. The employees are in different locations and work from home. What is my best shot here. 

 

Just for a quick note, I have tried using remote desktops like Teamviewer or Anydesk with no luck.
