So, I am planning a upgrade, many things broke recently and it was time. My current rig is:

HAF912 Plus

Crosshair-V Formula

Phenom IIX4 - 945

Coolermaster V6GT

GTX560TI

OCZ Fatal1ty 700 or 750w (the modular one)

2x 120Gb Corsair Force GT3 SSDs (Raid 0)

1x4Gb DDR3 1600Mhz

Samsung 2233rz (1860x1050 TN 3D monitor - I actually have and use Nvidia 3d glasses)

Random phillips headphone

Random keyboard

I had a 1.5TB HDD which died, my front USB broke, my old logitech G35 broke, I gave one of my ram sticks to my father and never bought another one, and moved my keyboard to my work pc, so I am using a random carp one. I have something around US$1000-1100, but I live in Brazil, so it should be something like US$500 in the US. I mainly use my PC for studying 3d animation (I use 3ds max) and gaming ( I mainly play RTSs, and Single Player games, the only FPS I play is CS:GO)

I want to upgrade my rig, I am thinking about: (Local prices in dollars)

2x LG 23" 1080p IPS monitor (the cheapest 23" 1080p IPS monitors I found) - 2x US$250

PhenomIIx6-1090T (I have one around)

Medadot Das Ultimate Brown switches (I don't want to wake my family at night, and never had a mechanical keyboard) - US$300

1x 2tb seagate hard drive (it is the cheapest 7200rpm drive) - US$140

Corsair 200R US$110

I don't know if I should buy other things, maybe buy some microsoft keyboard and sell my graphics card, I am looking for sugestions :D

This is extremely confusing.... So you want a $500 USD build with a monitor, but you (@danieldsklein) already have an AM3+ CPU?

My Build Log on PCPartPicker FX-6300, ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3, MSI 7870 GHz Edition, Corsair Vengeance LP 1x8GB, 1TB WD Blue, Fractal Core 1000 USB 3.0, Corsair CX600, and my most recent addition that I've had forever and isnt new is a 80GB WD800 for Linux, Lenovo ThinkPad X131e, ASUS Transformer TF300T, Galaxy Note 3 Sister dropped it in a puddle I now have to use a Samsung Brightside, Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250ohm version, Blue Yeti  #TheRealKEH-JEFF | "Sometimes, if were lucky, in Australia, a family has 2 kangaroos to pick up the kids with" - marto | Your entry here | Remember kids; just because Linus has a video on it, doesn't mean that its the best choice | ts3.wferr.com the best TeamSpeak Abide by the CoC | Looking for build help? (Eu sei, o fórum é canadense, eu também sou brasileiro, mas vai que tem alguém não-brasileiro precisando de ajuda e o tópico é útil pra a pessoa :P

If you still have the 1090T you can sure use it! It is compatible with the Crosshair V Formula, or you can sell both and get an 8350, i think selling both you'll get enough money + around R$100,00 on Mercado Livre.

If you are going to continue using using that 3D monitor I supose an Nvidia Graphics Card would go well, 760 would be a wise choice.

If the Power Supply is still in good state you don't need to change it now. 750W is enought juice to run a 780ti there.

For memory, if needed, you can get those RipJawz, they're good and have nice speed, latencies and capacities (I have some at 2133mhz, CL10 and 8GB)

The keyboard, browns are quite good, but if there's multiple room, that shouldn't be much of a problem, specially if you have air conditioner rolling, But that is a very nice keyboard indeed.

I think you can get similar quality AOC monitors a little bit cheaper here in brazil.

The HDD, since it's just for Storage (I believe) there's no problem on getting one of those WD Green 5400RPM, they're cheaper and you can get a 3TB or 4TB one!
