So I'm planning on replacing my acrylic glass window with a stainless steel woven wire cloth/mesh(http://www.industrialmetalmesh.com/sale-10112309-t-304-stainless-steel-woven-wire-mesh-metal-mesh-screen-30m-roll-length-for-screening.html) after seeing how cooler my pc runs with the glass window off. I have a conventional balanced air pressure fan placement (2 intake, 2 exhaust) in a matx case (https://www.rakk.ph/Rakk-Anyag-Gaming-Case-Black/n/e8cc43742ef41bf114b0448bdefae0b27a338b56.html). Before, while gaming, I'm getting a gpu temp of 83 C and a cpu temp of 76 C in a closed case, but after removing the window, the temps dropped to 73 C and 65 C respectively. Do think this would be a good idea?

I had a open side door full tower case from 2001.  I left it open always..  and used no fans... Just a heatsink fan or liquid cooling fans and thats it.  It doesn't get any dust no need to clean anything,, except once in a while the heatsink fan or rad fans.  Everything else stays clean.  I highly recommend doing it. Your PSU will stay cool, so will everything else.  Plus you can take away some fans and have it be silent.  Just don't finger it that's all.

Sounds like a neat mod, but acoustics might suffer. If that's of no concern, then I say go for it

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?

Wow, I'm surprised it didn't get any substantial dust build up anyway, got you there bro, I won't finger it ;)  Thanks!
