So I have to decide between the Seasonic M12II-620 Evo or the Focus Plus 550w. As i needed a new power supply on the cheap I firstly stumbled across the M12II-520 as a reletively cheap PSU where I live at about 75$ but saw that the 620W variant was only 8-10$ more expensive so I sattled on it.

Then I saw the Focus Plus 550W which is modular again AND gold rated for about 93$ (18$ more than the original M12II-520 that I was looking at and already though of being expensive). So are the 18$ (which in this case kinda a lot of money actually, that I WILL BE WILLING to spend) worth the upgrade?

The machine that this will be used in is i3-8100, 1050ti, m.2 ssd, 8gb of ram with a open mind of upgrading down to road to something in the range of 2070 (or like 3070 one day?) and a unlocked i5 to PROBABLY overclock?

Both of those power supplies are garbage, try to get a Corsair CX, CXM, TXM, or RMx, or EVGA G2 PSU.
