So I was overclocking and my friend said I should try overclocking my ram. So I went and I did it and it worked fine but for some reason it went crazy and my CPU and RAM shot to 1.8 volts and I turned it off quickly. As soon as I calmed down I turned it on and suprise there is no boot or anhrjong . It just a solid red dram light and nothing on screen. I tired another ram stick and nothing

Reset CMOS(short the jumper or remove the battery for a minute or so) and try again.

Already tried

If you're able to try a different board, do that.

Do any of your friends or relatives have 6th/7th Gen Intel based systems?

If your CPU ever saw 1.8v and wasn't under ln2 I bet its dead. 1.8v is like 120vac to the heart for a CPU.

So basically I'm screwed either way. Either it's the motherboard or cpu

Like I said 1.8v is pretty crazy so your CPU is likely dead. Heat can cause damage to a CPU over time but voltage kills. I think intel specs their CPUs to reveice at MAX 1.5v for a short moment but 1.5 is already crazy high. 1.8 is down right lethal.
