Question about the RTX.

So I saw that the RTX has a USB Type C connector on it and I was curious on that. I have an ASUS ZenScreen MB16AC and the only way it can work is by using the USB Type C connector. Since my current GPU doesn't have that there's an adapter to put it to a USB Type A. I was wondering if with the Type C on the RTX if that would be able to power the monitor. Has anyone been able to test this?
