New Build Error

Just got my first PC, and while trying to attempt POST on top of the motherboard box the system runs for a few seconds but then restarts. All fans work and when turned on the CPU led on the motherboard flicks on to then switch to the dram led, stays on for a few seconds before switching off with the CPU led flicking on as it turns off. Tried switching the ram about which does nothing and also checked all plugs and made sure nothing is loose. Can not check through Bios as nothing comes up on the display and don't have any available ram to test. If anyone has any solutions I'm am open to suggestions on how to solve this issue.

Is it in the correct slots, try one stick?
