I am hoping to build a computer by the end of October. I have most of the parts chosen already but wanted to double check before purchasing.

I have

  • Ryzen 7 2700
  • MSI X470 ATX Motherboard
  • 16 GB Ram
  • Gigabyte 1070 Windforce
  • 512 GB SSD
  • 2TB Hard drive
  • EVGA Supernova 750W Power supply
  • Cooler Master - Master liquid ML240 Cpu cooler

I was wanting recommendations for a Case for around $100 also as this is my first build i wanted to double check if there were any signifcant bottlenecks.

BTW i live in Australia

The biuild is fine, my only wonder, 16GB of ram? For me it is overkill for a gaming mashine (i know it can not be used only for gaming). Well balanced anyway.

For the case, be quiet Pure Base 600? I dunno what you except, all glass? All metal? Only side glass? Plastick, metal?

Ryzen needs good RAM to run efficiently and better. Dual channel is kinda a must

Take Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 650W rather than Evga super nova 750W, and see if with the saved money you can buy gtx 1080. It will be worth the upgrade, and Seasonic Focus Plus gold is top notch for your build (and less expensive).

If you plan on getting a 1440p monitor or want high frames to support your 144hz monitor. I would suggest you going with a 1070Ti.

You can save some money on the SSD by going with a 256GB variant as that should be enough for windows and a couple of games or your necessary softwares.
I would have done that.

rest of the build seems dope man, wish you all the best ^^

I actually forgot about this, and i didn't say anything about single channel, you can go 4x2 for dual channel 8gb :P

Going for 256ssd isn't worth because it is not significantlly cheaper than 512gb version, and 256gb isn't that much, it is a lot, yeas, but not great either

Yeah, going down with PSU can get you 1070TI or even 1080, it is worth thinking
