DT 990 Problem ?!

Go to solution Solved by dklhs90,

Yay i just noticed they sound way better now.

I guess burning in is actually not a gimmick ^^

Yeah the more you use them the better they get xD

Just plugged my brand new dt 990's into the e10.

Than listened to some music and it sounded muddy, not clear no highs really.

In games they were ok at pin pointing enemies but when i was walking myself or there was alot happening i couldnt hear anything because of the base.

E10 bass boost is off and i tried hooking the e10 in the back and in the front , nothing changed.

Running on low gain settings (volume:5) with a 3.5 jack.

Is this normal or is something wrong?

Mmm. I own the DT990 Pro 250Ohm and DT990 Premium 600Ohm but unfortunately I do not own the E10. I do own an E11 but in your case i would check the EQ from the source first while keeping the AMP at default.

Or are your DT990 brand spanking new out of the box?

it should be default but double check the sound properties to make sure all "enhancements" are disabled.

Will work for electronic components and parts
