PC Freezing Randomly

Not sure what is causing it to freeze as it freezing at random times whether playing a game or while idling

 

I ran windows memory test all fine there

Don't think its overheating its currently got a CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ CPU Cooler

 

Not sure on how to test the cpu or motherboard or is there anything I should do?

I just run MSI Aterburner for a few hours, It's the only thing I've ever used to check GPU temps but RealTemp should be fine to check your CPU.

Maybe you have a bad mount? also what are your specs? if you use an ancient harddrive the issue might be, that it is too slow? also check what programms you have running in the background often these can slow down the computer badly...

HDD might run into bad sectors. Try to defrag it.
