I am having an issue with my pc as i already have a 650Gb SATA hard drive and wanted expand it, so I bought an SSD Hard Drive and installed my windows in the SSD, but i am unable to use both the hard drive together as the SATA HDD is not detected by the system (BIOS/WINDOWS). At initial stage i was able to use both of them but not on regular basis as the SATA HDD is not detected.

Are there some changes that are to be made at the BIOS level or Upgrading the BIOS would solve the solution.

If it's not detected in BIOS, change SATA port (or data cable).
