Need some help deciding on which RAM is best for performance. Doesn't have to have any RGB. Specs of other hardware are: I7-8700k, ASROCK z370 Fatal1ty gaming ITX, NZXT kraken x52 AIO, NZXT h200i ITX case, Corsair CX500M PSU, Samsung 970 EVO ssd, WD blue 1tb hdd, also have rx 580 or 1080ti to put in as well. Look for 3000mhz or above with the lowest timings within your budget.

 

You pay a premum for higher frequency low latency RAM, for example.

They are equal. For example:

If you got some Patriot RAM at say 3200mhz 16-18-18-36

and also some Corsair 3200mhz 16-18-18-36

 

They woudl perform the same.

 

The onyl thign you may want to consider is warrenty deal. Though i've personaly never had RAM fail so...

 

I personaly like G.Skill RAM due to looks and also their lifetime warranty.

 

i think these would be 2 good options wihtin your budget.
