Budget, location, PSU, and what do you plan to do exactly?

Budget is somewhat flexible since I'll save up a little if i go with something more expensive, location id prefer pcie(had to do but on a serious note Oregon kinda close portland.) For psu i have an evga 500w white but I'll be swapping that out for a 650w supernova, and most 1080p gaming and video editing with some photo editing on the side.

I haven't heard about ryzen 3000, and i have a gigabyte b350 gaming wifi mini atx board, i thought about used but its worth the extra money to me to get new so i dont have to worry about getting a dead card or one that dies in a month.

The card is not going to be dead, nor will it really die in a month.

the 980ti is just about the best bang for your buck GPU at the moment, can be found for just $300 used, ebay has plenty of protections for buyers in any event.

Didn't Gigabyte lie about the VRMs or something with Ryzen boards?

Everyone lies about VRM phase counts

the gigabyte ITX boards are like the best due to features and a heatsink over the entire VRM.

I haven't had any issues with my vrms but that a sample size of one, and a 980ti would be nice but would it be better than 1060 6gb?

A 980ti near 1500mhz is within about 15% of a GTX 1080

I checked it out and i might go used but from what im see i can get a 1070 cheaper than a 980 ti new and used they are running like $25 less there is actually and sli set of 1070s on Ebay right now with a $250 usd buy it now price, but that seems a little fishy and i only have one PCIE anyway.

Before you should upgrade.

Im looking 980 ti is vr ready and looks good but thr prices im seeing are about $25-50 more that a 1070 for new or used. Oh and kinda unrelated but what would be a fair asking price for a used 1050 ti ftw?

You'd be lucky to get about $120 for it

If you were looking at the 10 series shoot for a 1070ti at minimum, matches a 1080 with a 2 minute OC.

It's EVGA's B Stock sales you need to follow that on reddit as you don't have much time to buy one before they sell out.  You also don't need the box to say "VR Ready" that's just a gimmick to push sales.  It doesn't mean a product can or can't.

I honestly just didn't know if the 9 series architecture was compatible with rift or not and i looked at at evgas B stock and they where all around $375 as of about an hour ago.

I was just hoping to maybe get $140 for it since the FTW edition goes for around $40 more than other 1050 TI cards but $120 isnt to bad since i dont know what i would do with it.

Doesn't matter how good a 1050ti it is, it's still just a 1050ti, and RX 570 prices are coming down fast to kill the 1050ti again.

It does matter a little, if one cost more new it will still cosy more than the other used and for good reason its only a 1050 but it is the fastest 1050 ti on the market.

Oh i did a little looking i don't have the full picture but at least at unigine heaven my 1050ti smashes an rx570 im seeing benchmarks for them around 1300 at 1080p and i have proof of my 1050ti scoring just shy of 3900 after i overclocked it.
