Care to elaborate?

So I was prompted by AMD's software to update my drivers. During the process, the screen turned black and for a while it ended up turning itself off. I then tried to reinstall the drivers while using the iGPU, but it didn't work.

Elaborate on how reinstalling the drivers with iGPU did not work.

Did you try uninstalling catalyst?

Did you try uninstalling the GPU drivers? don't tell me that didn't work either.

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"

I reinstalled my drivers and restarted my computer, but it still didn't work. I did try to uninstall catalyst and use the generic drivers, but it didn't work. I think the graphics card is probably dead not bricked.

Check the GPU and see if it has any scorch marks on it. My 1070 blew up and smoke came out of it after 6 months of use. They sent me a replacement since it was within RMA period.

I heard that the issue was the VRAM wasn't properly cooled and it overheated. Resulting in the VRAM bursting into flames.

Yeah, that's exactly why I am not buying from them again...

The new MacBook Pro is so terrible at keeping the i9 cool. How do they expect a chassis that thin to keep it cool? I'm surprised that there aren't any reports of a burnt component.

It is very normal. Contact EVGA, they're said to have fantastic customer support.
