New build help (threadripper)

Hello dear friends,

I have recently bought a 1920x and I already own an NZXT noctis 450 rog, I was hoping I could fit an ROG Zenith extreme in the case but after measurements im not too sure. I know most of the mounting screws should fit and I will probably loose two or more hard drive cages and all of my cable routing holes, but hey jerry rig it am I right?

Here is a link to the case specs: https://www.nzxt.com/products/noctis-450-rog

Here is a link to the motherboard specs as well: https://www.cnet.com/products/asus-rog-zenith-extreme-motherboard-extended-atx-socket-tr4-amd-x399/specs/ the dimensions are near the bottom of the page

Any suggestions at all will be gratefully accepted, thanks guys appreciate the help 9_9

I believe EATX has additional mount points along the "forward" edge. Without that support, one would have to be very careful not to put undue pressure in the supported area.

I'd suggest considering a different motherboard. Perhaps the Asrock X399 Taichi.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
