Should I keep or upgrade

Anybody know if this monitor is good ?? 
HP OMEN 25 LED monitor - 24.5" 400 cd/m² 144 Hz 1ms Displayport USB 3.0

and I might upgrade to a 1070 but I play on an 

Asus 23.6" Full HD (1920x1080) , 1ms, Low Blue Light, Flicker Free Gaming Monitor Frys#: 8714101 Model: VP247H-P

It depends, unless you play CS:GO, fortnite, starcraft, lol or any other e-sport title i wouldn't bother with high refresh monitor, would rather go for 1070 and 1080p monitor combo

So should I keep the ASUS monitor and get the 1070 because the 1070 is either the ZOTAC mini or the ASUS strix and there both $250 USD

Asus z170-a motherboard 

I5 6500 

8gb of g.skill ddr4 2400mhz

2 hdd’s 

1 ssd for os

asus dual oc gtx 1060 3gb 

and the asus monitor
