I came across some random crashing while playing GTA online and BF1 multiplayer (especially when I on a good round lol). Game files are installed in a tirered drive created by storemi. I think I heard from somewhere that it is a known issue on storemi but I failed to Google similar case.

My PC :

ASUS prime x470 pro

R5 1600 on stock cooler (with a slight OC to 3.71ghz)

16Gb DDR4 3000  (running 3200)

256G NVME drive (system)

GTX1070 (previously R9 290, game crushed on both card)

Tiered storage:

Slow: 1T 2.5' HDD

Fast: 250gb sata SSD

So far I had tried

1. Tire drive with SSD and HDD mode, with or without 2g ram cache

2. Run CPU on stock clock with ram on xmp

3. Verifies game file

But didn't seems to resolve the issue, does anyone came across the same problem?

Give us more info about the crash.

Error messages? Blue screen?
Have you DDUed your AMD driver before installing your Nvidia card?

Is your GPU core/memory overclocked?

what is this? My dictionary fails to recognize this word and the online dic doesn't know it either.

You are assuming that this could be a StoreMI bug.
This could be the case but that would most likely be on a hardware level or on such a deep driver level you can not fix it easily.
If we manage to clearly paint StoreMI as the culprit a BIOS update could be worth a try but that is the only immidiate idea i can come up with (don't do it yet!).

First of all, really thank you for the reply. And my apology for my poor spelling, turn out the lack of sleep and stress from work heavily comprised my foreign language ability. I was meant to type "tiered".

For your information:

1. When the game crushed, the programme just freeze and and window suggested it "stop working", no BSOD , no system reboot, only the game programme crushed quit, other programmes on background not affected.

2. I completely remove the AMD software before installing nvidia driver. Since this problem is there before I switch to a nvidia card, I don't think it is the issue.

3. I tried to run my GPU on stock clock (core and vram), but problem remains.

If storemi is not likely to cause problems,

I will clean install windows again on the weekend and see if the problem persists.
