What CPU should I buy??

Low end budget: r5 2600 or 2600x, high end budget: r7 2700x. However, a r5 2600 will be more then adequate for running a 1060 6gb

Ryzen 5 2600 if possible. Adding in mobo and 16GB RAM, you're looking at $400. Settling with 8GB, expect $350

It wont. DDR3 doesnt even fit into the slots.

If you upgrade to ryzen, yes. You'll also need a new motherboard.

I'd rather spend a bit less on the CPU (1400 for example) for a better motherboard. MSI B450-A Pro for example. If that's too much then get others like Asrock AB350 Pro4 (or the AB350M Pro4) or Asus B350 Plus.

Tomahawk has USB Type C but B450-A doesnt. Other than that, their differences are limited to the looks with the same performance.

Just be warned that the B350M Gaming Pro is the worst of B350 boards, and MSI's B350 and X370 boards are already worse than other brands. dont regret your choice after putting down your money.
