Depending on the application, if it uses GPU rendering you could use the Vega 8 to do some GPU rendering in the background while gaming on the 1050 To, but it really depends on the board and it's hard to find boards that allow you to do this.

 

Oftentimes the motherboard will disable integrated graphics once you get a real graphics card installed.
