I was wondering today. That if you for example have a 24 pin connector on a Silverstone PSU and then use it on a Corsair PSU then would it actually work? I think it is a pretty dumb question if it is an easy answer. Ps: Even if you could mix match the cables I wouldn't have any need to anyway lol

If you're talking about the cables that you buy separately that both Corsair and Silverstone offer, they do not work with other branded PSU's or those left off the list. I saw a thread about this about 3 months ago where someone brought a Corsair kit to use on a Seasonic or Silverstone PSU and it didn't work.

That is correct - they don't. Both companies are using custom pin outs and connectors at the main terminal, probably just for this reason. :) Even the cables for the original Corsair AX series and the newer version 2 or AXi series are not compatible.
