I built my own pc a while back and finally got an actual headset with a jack splitter.  I have the correct line in the microphone and headset receivers respectively, but I've been having a problem.  Everyone that i come in contact with whether in discord, skype, or in game can hear all my headset's output in their headsets.  I've taken out the mic from my headset and even the microphone jack and tested spotify both times, and my friend in discord could hear the song playing both times (different tests).  I have no idea what the problem is, the headset is a Corsair HS50, and has no drivers on the internet, i checked all my sound drivers through the device manager and updated them all.  What can I do to solve this problem?

right click the audio icon in the windows taskbar and click "sounds". Then go to the recording tab, and make sure that "stereo mix" is either disabled or not your default device. Stereo mix is basically a virtual microphone that records the windows desktop so that could be your problem.
