Prioritise a rear exhaust fan first since generally case fair flow is from front to back.

 

For top case fans, those are worth it when you laready have established front and rear fans. I have a single 120mm case fan set to exhaust hot air from the inside of the case, since hot air rises and I want to optimise it as much as I can.

I use one top fan set to minimum speed to prevent dust build up.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Depends on your CPU cooler. Best way is the way your CPU cooler is moving air. If you can have it blow towards top, then that would be best for performance.
