Windows 10 Pro

Windows up to date, all softwares and firmwares are up to date, BIOS up to date.

Pc was running well for a few hours.

Was browsing through chrome and suddenly it became super laggy.
Mouse pointer still moves but i can't even open task manager.
Last time i opened it up task manager reports my cpu usage @ 96%.

No bluescreen. I had to force shut it down and only then it'll be normal again (even then checked BIOS, no overheating)

This has happened 3 times. Once  today, twice 2 days ago.

I'm scared if there's something wrong with my pc equipment.

Open Task manager and look at what is on the Startup tab - disable any software you don't reckon using or it's not something important (you can take a screenshot and show if you're not comfortable in disabling softwares).

Open Run by pressing Windows key + R and type msconifg see on the services tab (click to not show microsoft services) same treatment as Task Manager.

When this happens in Task Manager which task is using the most CPU ?

Are you sure it's not just Windows Defender cleaning or scanning stuff ? (Which I don't think will be a problem as you have 2 ssd's)

I have just reinstalled my Windows.
Didn't reinstall Corsair iCUE or any other softwares for now. Will see for the next few days if this issue still persists.
