Something wrong with PNY cards?

I've been browsing eBay to see used market prices (thank god 1060 3gb is now less than $150) and I've seen a truckload of PNY graphics cards all over eBay. Do people not like their cards, or is there some issue I need to be careful of? I've owned a PNY 1060 before, and thought it was pretty great.

 

 

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

Usually I see a lot of EVGA cards for that reason, but this is the first I've seen this sheer abundance of PNY. Perhaps just my luck?

It happens, that's the beauty/damned of the used market, you're going to see fluctuations of cards every so often. PNY today, could be EVGA next week, Asus ROG Strix ones the next, it's up to when people choose to sell their cards. Especially with RTX cards on the horizon.

I really hope a flood of cheap strix cards hits the market lol

I built a PC for a friend 10 years ago using a PNY video card and to this day its never let him down, so i would say theres nothing wrong with them.

As far as im aware their fine.. but ive heared their heatsinks arent the best.
