Laptop Skipping audio

Hi, this Dell e6400 laptop is skipping audio, it does it on Youtube videos, spotify songs, and downloaded video's. It doesn't matter what the audio is playing out of, the built in speakers, or my wireless headphones, the audio still skips. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Try this and see if you're getting any spikes, or worse yet, constantly high readings (in the red)

Check your audio drivers, they might be corrupt or outdated.
