Upgrading iphone 6

So I am going to upgrade my iphone 6 this year and the new iphones just came out. The only problem is that the xs is $1k and the xs max is 1.1k. I can still afford them but it hurts to spend that much money. I'm either going to upgrade to the iphone 8 plus, iphone xr, or iphone xs. I really like the new iphone designs i'm just not sure if the price tag is worth it? Thanks for the help!

Eh, unless you really see a purpose in getting an Xs, just get an Xr, or if you're fine with it, an 8 Plus.

The first thing you should ask yourself is do I need to upgrade? then ask can I afford to upgrade? and finally ask is it worth the upgrade?

Yea, the battery life is bad on my 6, cracked screen, and laggy. I have the money for an upgrade (prob not the xs max tho that's unreasonable for me), and I think an upgrade would be worth it. I just need to know which of these iphones would be best for me.

Then simply compare the Xs and Xr to decide which one offers the features you need, then decide which one fits your budget. The only person who can tell you what phone works best for you, is you, because you know what you need the phone to do for your needs better than anyone else.

got the update to android 9.0 recently, though I'm sticking to 8 until any software bugs are worked out.
