B350 board won't work, that's AMD.

Go with PCPartPicker.com to go with their compatibility tool.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

an 860 evo would be cheaper and not hinder gaming performance whatsoever.

2 sticks of ram will be better than 1.

For your budget, you could choose a ryzen 5 2600 (better than the 8400 for cheaper or same cost I believe), and pair it with the mobo you choose (or a better one like the b450-a pro or b450 tomahawk), and 2x4 ram is faster than 1x8. Aso, that case is made of cheap plastic (if its the one I think it is, and youd be better of getting something like the fractal design focus g)

PC: CPU: i5-9600k - CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 - GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB GDDR6 - Motherboard: ASRock - Z370 Extreme4 - RAM: Team - T-Force Delta RGB 16 GB DDR4-3000 - PSU: Corsair - TXM Gold 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply - Case: Thermaltake - Core G21 TG

So you think it needs more ram?

no, 8gb is fine, but having 2 sticks of 4 gb is faster than 1 stick of 8 gb
