Okay.

So, I ran the free version of 3d Mark from Steam. I had got a 10.6k-10.8k on a 2600X/1080 "TI"; that I think might be a flashed 970. So far, so good. Memory is over clocked on "Memory try-it" to 3466 CL16 in the Bios.

Then I run Prime 95, it freezes no matter what, whether it is underclocked or overclocked. MSI Kombuster runs for about 10 minutes then closes automatically. I figured 5-10 minutes on Prime 95 is stable enough because I kept hearing it is an unrealistic load.

It wasn't really a problen until it was scoring 28-30 FPS on 4K GTA 5 on the benchmark.

I really don't want to sound passive agressive. Just bothersome when I only want to play games at a high refresh rate.

Was from a miner on Reddit.

I was hoping that somebody would be like "try disabling Xxx" then the FPS would be high.

Right...

It's always a hit and miss with ex-miner cards.

Since it's not from a reputable seller, it might be dodgy.

No other components in your machine bottlenecking your GPU?
